To All of Our Supporters,
Listed below is an update on the Foundation’s activities since our last report.
First, we’d like to thank all of you who supported the 2026 Jeff Musser Foundation Golf Classic on June 22 with your attendance, your sponsorships and or your donations. We had a wonderful day, and it was a pleasure to see so many of you for golf at Lancaster Country Club and Bent Creek Golf Club. After 200 people played golf on both courses, we were joined by another thirty five folks who came to join us for the Social Hour, Live Auction and, most importantly, to hear a family speak about what the Foundation meant to them. Carter Rehrer’s family joined us to speak about their courageous journey. Carter’s mom spoke emotionally about Carter’s bravery and the impact The Jeff Musser Foundation has had to support their family while dad cuddled their newborn daughter. Your donations mean more than you will ever know – a heartfelt THANK YOU!
The first half of 2026 is nearing an end, and we’ve had a record number of families referred to us during the first six months of the year. As of this writing, fifty-eight families have received help from the Foundation since January 1. Some of them are older referrals from last or previous years and some of them are new ones but it’s a new record number since our total from twelve months of last year was ninety-one. As you’d expect, the expenditure to cover this multitude of requests has greatly increased over the same period last year. There doesn’t seem
to be any lessening in the number of families in our area who need help paying their rent or mortgage, their utility bills, auto loan payments or auto insurance, or any other expenses identified by the social workers with whom we partner that are necessary to help families through their cancer treatment journeys. We’re confident we can keep pace with the requests we receive because of your unceasing generosity. We can’t thank you enough for sticking with us because none of what we do is possible without you!
We’re pleased to announce that the Foundation will be holding our annual Cadillac Dinner at Lancaster Country Club on Friday, September 11, 2026. You’ll be receiving an email containing more information shortly about the event. We hope to see many of you there so we can thank you, in person, for your continued assistance with our mission!
