To All of Our Supporters,

The current Coronavirus Pandemic has touched all of us, in one way or another.  Yesterday, the Board and the Golf Committee of the Jeff Musser Foundation held a virtual meeting to discuss the feasibility of holding the Jeff Musser Golf Classic on June 24, 2020.  The participants voted to cancel the golf outing for this year, based on the guidance we’ve received from Governor Wolf and the health officials involved.

This year would have been the Twentieth Jeff Musser Golf Classic and we had several ideas for marking this memorable anniversary.  We hope to implement all these plans next June when we’ll be able to gather again.  It’s such a special event for the Foundation, where we get to meet with all of you and thank you for your support.  We also look forward to introducing you to one of the families your generosity has helped.  It’s always a wonderful day and we hope to see all of you in June of 2021.

Unfortunately, even though we’ll be unable to hold our biggest fundraiser of the year, the needs of our community have not changed.  While the virtual meeting was being held in all of our homes, we received a new referral for assistance from Penn State Children’s Hospital.  We anticipate the need for assistance will only grow as the effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic deepen in our community.  Often, the families we are called to assist are the ones who are feeling the economic effects of this crisis most acutely.

If you’ve already sent us a check for the Golf Outing and would like your check returned, we’ll be happy to do so.  Please send your request to musserfoundation@clarkinc.biz.   If you’d still like to make a contribution to the Foundation, we’ll be thankful for your support.

We’ll keep you posted regarding events later this year.  Thank you, in advance, for your understanding and your continued support.  Without you, our mission is impossible!

Stay well,

The Board and Volunteers of the Jeff Musser Foundation
